Scope of work
Reinforced Earth (RE) Wall
Designed and constructed a Reinforced Earth (RE) wall system for valley-side protection and reclamation of the carriageway. The project addressed multiple critical slip zones while widening the highway, ensuring safe and uninterrupted traffic movement through the challenging hilly terrain of Arunachal Pradesh.
The RE wall system provided a permanent, sustainable solution to recurring landslides on the valley side. By combining reinforced soil technology, effective drainage, and robust foundation support, the project enhanced road safety, improved connectivity, and reduced future maintenance requirements. Its modular, adaptable design makes it well suited to highway widening, slope stabilization, and infrastructure development in challenging mountainous regions.
